A graduate of the University of Illinois
School of Dentistry (where he was named Outstanding Senior in Oral
Medicine by
the American Academy
of Oral Medicine), Dr. David Rice began private practice while serving
on the University’s faculty in the Department of Oral Diagnosis.
He relocated to Elgin in 1986 and established a comprehensive care
practice with particular emphasis in restorative dentistry. During
his years in practice, Dr. Rice has continued to broaden his skills
in esthetic and restorative dentistry through completion of numerous,
advanced courses.
Dr. Rice is a member of the American Dental Association,
American Equilibration Society, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental
Society, Fox River Valley Dental
Society, and Elgin Dental Study Club.
Staff members have been selected
for their compatible commitment to patient care and excellent skill
levels. Together with Dr. Rice, they strive to create a positive experience
at each visit.
Dr. Rice has trained with some of Illinois' most prominent Sedation Dental Specialists. He is a past member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation(DOCS)." He offers several Sedation options: IV Sedation, Oral Sedation(taking a small pill), and Nitrous oxide(laughing gas).
